Help build your community via the sports you love to play.
Rec is a platform for anyone looking to get more people playing - whether it’s just your personal passion or your full-time job. We have multiple ways to get involved, from coaching private lessons and teaching clinics to facilitating tournaments or hosting small, casual, play groups.

Teach classes and clinics
Becoming a Rec-approved instructor means you have formal instructional experience, often have coaching certifications, and also pass our required background checks.
Once approved, Rec provides instructors with an automated platform to teach at the locations they are eligible at. Instructors can offer private and semi-private instruction on Rec courts, teach clinics from Rec’s standing programming (like 101 and skill clinics), and even test out new formats of classes and programming that you think will engage the community. The Rec platform guarantees court time, manages all customer communications, and Rec, along with our city partners, will help drive demand to your business!
TeachOrganize and host play
As a community host, you bring your passion for sports and help make it easier for more people to have a great experience playing. We know that play is better for everyone when someone can be there to help facilitate, make things fun, and keep the competition flowing. These can be large multi-court tournaments, ongoing weekly leagues, or just small skill-matched play groups. Rec provides the guaranteed court time and all of the participant management tools to make organizing a breeze.
